HPNA 2025 Annual Meeting

  • Richardson Senior Center 820 W Arapaho Rd # 100 Richardson (map)

A neighborhood gathering garnished with a great native gardening guru.

Our annual meeting will take place Thurs., Feb 6, 6pm at the Richardson Senior Center, 820 West Arapaho. Be the first to hear all about some lively, new events planned for our ‘hood in 2025. We’ll elect 2025 officers, and present our budget reflecting the return on your membership dollars investment.

After the business session is wrapped, we’ll continue with a presentation on the Benefits of Native Plants. Utilizing native plants is a hot topic now, and for good reason. There are so many benefits to native plants including drought tolerance, less maintenance and fertilization (which equates to less cost) food for birds, butterflies and bees, and much more. You’ll learn what works well in your backyard. Our featured speaker is botany enthusiast, a Texas Master Naturalist, and a longtime member of the Native Plant Society of Texas. She’ll bring her expertise, resources, take-away materials and be ready to answer your specific gardening questions.
